As a team, Apply Ops maintains and improves the Indeed Apply experience through process, tooling and our unique perspectives as advocates for job seekers, partners and stakeholders. You will have a key role in helping manage this ecosystem, by monitoring API integrations and diagnosing errors, investigating potential product issues reported by jobseekers, and working on projects and initiatives that support apply quality and reliability.


- Monitor API partner integrations and diagnose issues

- Investigate and reproduce potential bugs reported by jobseekers, and escalate to the product team as appropriate
- Update Apply configurations using various tools
- Work with stakeholders from various roles across Indeed, including product-, engineering- and business-focused functions
- Help maintain external API documentation and internal process wiki
- Participate in short- and long-term projects to improve the product and overall job seeker experience
- Help shape processes and tools by raising issues and opportunities for improvement
- Work with a fast-paced team to handle complex requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with team members in different countries and time zones



- Is inquisitive and eager to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

- Can multitask and prioritize a high volume of requests and be ready to re-prioritize when necessary
- Can read between the lines, recognize patterns, and dig in to get at the root of a problem
- Thinks on their toes and problem solves, not only efficiently, but creatively
- Can work independently, and complete tasks with little oversight
- Collaborates well in a diverse team environment with different roles and backgrounds
- Can identify ways to improve internal processes and tools in order to keep up with growing demand

- Takes pride in everything they do and is motivated to go above and beyond what is expected


- Experience reproducing and investigating issues in a software or web application environment is a must

- Experience in a technical support role in a consumer-facing web company is strongly preferred
- Experience helping shape team processes and documentation is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge or exposure to a database query language is strongly preferred (e.g. SQL)
- Experience debugging at least one of the following is preferred: JSON, XML or HTML
- Experience using developer tools to aid in investigation (e.g. Chrome Developer Tools, Terminal, running Python scripts) is preferred
- Experience using ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce) in a support or operations role is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for digging into a problem and finding the best solution
- Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills
- 2 years of relevant professional experience

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
