Job Description:

This position requires the candidate to be in drivable distance from our datacenter at Saline, Michigan. Infrastructure team comprises of server Services group which provides infrastructure support of Windows, Unix, and VMware information systems on hardware located primarily in Saline, MI, data centers and tenants in Azure and AWS. The Team Lead will work in conjunction with the Windows Sr Engineers /Citrix engineer and provide project and resource leadership for the Team. IT infrastructure team also has a user support group. The team lead will be responsible for managing and executing support activity required to close escalated support requests. Team lead will also be responsible for the audit and maintenance of procedural document used by the support team. The primary roles this position fulfils are ensuring the equitable distribution of Operational and Project workload amongst the engineers facilitating completion of all tasks and deliverables within Contract Service Level Agreements, reviewing draft Operational Procedures, and providing supplemental operational support. This responsibility requires familiarity with Windows in both on-premise and Cloud environments and technical contribution is expected. However, the primary work effort is resource and process management, not technical escalation. The Windows Sr Engineers will provide technical direction and escalation. Additional elements of this position will include o Authoring Requirements and Design Documents, Work Instructions, SOPs, etc. o Attending Project Planning meetings and assigning Server Builds or related tasks o Coordinating with Unix, VMware, ad Cloud Operations Leads to ensure collaboration and communication amongst teams. o Act as the first step in customer escalation events. o Lead Team Meetings o Manage Windows Team Work Schedule o Play an active role in migrating the DC infrastructure Required Qualifications o 10 Years Experience in Information Windows Systems Management and/or Support o 3 Years Experience Managing Windows Engineers as a Team lead (or supervisor) 1 Years Experience Managing Projects involving AWS or Azure o At least one current or expired technical Certification ( MCSE, MCSA ) o Organized and motivated team player, with the ability to manage multiple projects while paying close attention to detail o Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision o Results oriented person with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment o Strong communicator (both verbal and written) skills are a must
