Clinton Laboratories has been a cornerstone manufacturing site for
Elanco since the 1970s. At Clinton Laboratories our manufacturing
processes include biotech manufacturing and small molecule
packaging. The site has been a leading employer and community

Process operators will be responsible for performing all tasks and
activities associated with premix formulation and packaging, as
well as, formulation, primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging of
liquid products. Packaging operators will be responsible for
performing all tasks and activities associated with the primary,
secondary, and tertiary packaging of OSD, tablet or chewable
products. This role requires individuals to demonstrate a high
level of initiative and ownership. Additionally, individuals will
be tasked to own or contribute on departmental goals include
meeting quality, production, and cost targets, while maintaining
safety, cGMP's (current good manufacturing practices), ISO
(International Organization for Standardization) 9000 certification
standards, and environmental compliance.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Ability to drive a forklift.
* Ability to handle 50 lb. packages.
* Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
* Good mechanical or equipment knowledge
* Must have good organizational skills and must be detail
oriented.
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively interact with
all levels of staff and external contacts, ability to work as an
effective team member.
* High level of initiative.
* Possess the ability and desire to train for and execute other
packaging operations positions within the plant.
* Cooperative and service-oriented attitude; must be able to work
under pressure.
* Proficient in MS Office products such as Excel and Word and Adobe
Acrobat Writer.
* Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or
Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
* Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in
the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship

employment position.
Functions, Duties, Tasks:
* Operates various types of process and packaging equipment:
blenders, baggers, thermoformers, cartoners, tray packers,
palletizers.
* Operator is expected to recognize problem situations,
troubleshoot, and perform root cause problem solving.
* Additional routine operational responsibilities will include
driving a fork truck, loading foils and other product components,
cleaning equipment and production facility.
* Assures that production operations are performed according to
cGMP and ISO 9000 standards.
* Follows proper documentation and verification guidelines as they
apply to all operational documentation, e.g., batch production
records, SOP's, equipment, and sample submission.
* Recognizes and communicates process improvements and problems to
team members (peers, supervision, and technical support
personnel).
* Follows all departmental safety policies and procedures. Suggests
and implements departmental safety improvements while incorporating
safety into daily activities.

* Participates in departmental quality initiatives:
* Adheres to GMP's in equipment and area cleaning as well as
performs general housekeeping tasks.
* Operators are expected to recognize problem situations,
troubleshoot, and determine root causes using data.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
* Must be able to work a Day or Night 12 hour rotating
schedule.
* Work hours from 4:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* A shift premium is applied to individuals working the shift
above.
* ERT Membership preferred
* Overtime, weekends, and holidays required as dictated by the
schedule
