current CV/resume.SummaryThe College of Education, Health, and
Human Services Department of Education invites applications from
current graduate students in Education to work for 60h developing
the workshop curriculum and assisting in running the workshop and
receive compensation with an hourly rate of $20. The student will
assist on designing and running the summer professional development
workshop to train educators in using design thinking/human-centered
design tools to prepare high school students for university
engineering education. The position may extend to the fall where
the student will work for 40h assisting faculty in their follow up
coaching sessions and receive compensation with an hourly rate of
$20. The student will assist the PIs in their follow up sessions
with the K12 educators that will take place during the academic
year after they would have attended the summer professional
development workshop.Required Qualifications Required
qualifications Graduate standing in the Department of Education.
Familiarity with Michigan K-12 state content standards. Experience
with STEAM education in the K-12 Classroom. Completion of at least
three graduate level education research courses.Background
