Responsibilities*

Assist patients and visitors by opening doors, answering questions, providing emergency and directional assistance by using the telephone, or computer. - Assist patients and visitors from or into private cars, ambulances, stretchers and wheelchairs with the aid of varies safety equipment devices. Escort patients and visitors to and from designated locations. - Ensure access to building; maintaining entrance and driveways by moving traffic and performing such duties as sweeping, salting, and shoveling snow as required. - Issue tickets and park motor vehicles for visitors and patients when requested or direct requestors to other available parking options.

Required Qualifications*

High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must be able to tolerate outside adverse weather conditions. - Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/visitors. - Must be able to read and write English. - Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, etc. Computer knowledge. - Must be able to lift patients in/out of vehicles, wheelchairs, etc. - Must have good public relations skills. - Customer Service experience desired.

Work Schedule

This position may require -working -day shift, afternoon shift, midnight shift, weekends, and holidays.
