Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

The SafeCare - Supervisor is primarily responsible for supporting the SafeCare - Providers and Provider/Coach through weeklyclinical supervision and case review. This individual is also responsible for providing 24/7 support for theProviders and Coach.


  • Manage, develop, and train the team, while providing weekly supervision;
  • Build a cohesive team and maintain positive employee morale;
  • Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through employee evaluations, conference request, time sheets, and reimbursement vouchers;
  • Oversee the operations of the employee selection, hiring, training, disciplinary action, and orientation processes in accordance with agency expectations;
  • Ensure that all direct reports adhere to the components in the SafeCare - Standards;
  • Available to receive referrals, provide consultation, and support 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, while ensuring client eligibility and intake sessions occur within 24 hours of referral;
  • Provide coverage of the emergency and crisis system;
  • Serve as a back-up to SafeCare - Providers and Coach, as needed;
  • Ensure SafeCare - Providers and Coach provide a range of clinical, concrete, and advocacy services consistent with the SafeCare - model and the family's values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances, and culture;
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is completed and submitted as outlined in the SafeCare - standards;
  • Provide oversight of program outcomes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
  • Provide quality assurance oversight, technical assistance, and maintain close communication with the SafeCare - Providers and Coach;
  • Meet standard for ongoing client contact requirements, and ensure compliance with the respective state's child welfare agency contract requirements;
  • Meet contract guidelines for submission of billings, invoices, and service reports;
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the respective state's child welfare agency staff and others in the community;
  • Demonstrate flexibility with working hours outside of the normal business hours to meet the needs of the role to include some evenings and weekends, as needed;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college
    • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college, preferred;
    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children and families, preferably in family preservation and stabilization;
    • Demonstrated experience in, or potential for, providing supervision to staff providing in-home services;
    • Knowledge of child welfare policies and programs, family, and individual theories; treatment (intervention and technique) philosophies and strategies of home-based services, as well as knowledge and availability of local resources;
    • Preferably one (1) year of experience supervising others and teams;
    • Preferably active or able to obtain professional licensure issued by the state of the work location;
    • Must possess the ability to engage, develop, and maintain positive community relationships with a diverse group of individuals;
    • Demonstrates excellent assessment, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;
    • Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions;
    • Must have an ability to work flexible work hours to include some evenings and weekends;
    • Active motor vehicle license and a reliable automobile with adequate insurance coverage;
    • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
