Assisted living and Memory Care

Chelsea Retirement Community

Status: Per Diem

Per Diem Team Members are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month, based on the needs of the department. 2 of the 4 shifts must be on a weekend. Per Diem Team Members must meet all training requirements within the first 30 days of hire. This will include required training during normal business hours on weekdays (4 minimum weekday training requirements to be completed within 2 weeks of hire)

  • Shift Differentials, Holiday and weekend differentials as well!!Job Summary: Provide your assigned residents with actives of daily living at assisted living are but are not limited to: Performs passing medications, patient care activities and other tasks as assigned to assist the primary care, therapy, and health staff, works under the direct and indirect supervision of the Direct Care Supervisor, personal care, helping with meal times, transporting residents, knowledge and skills of RCA.

    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
    • Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with older adults, personnel, and support organizationsCore Competencies

      Required Qualifications

      1. High School Diploma or equivalent

      2. Must be currently certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan

      3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct care role is preferred.

      All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, TB screen at time of hire and verification of professional licensure, if applicable. In addition, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or agreement to participate in weekly Covid testing and approved exemption is required.

      Note: Rate of pay is based on relevant prior work experience, the resume you submit should reflect all work experience.
