Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities
- Securing Residential and Allied Health authorizations/physician
scripts
- Coordination with clinical team to obtain supportive
documentation and amendments to documentation as level of care
increases/decreases
- Assists with resident(s) authorizations based on requirements of
funding source and HMO companies
- Maintaining agency management system (Sandata) with
authorization/physician script detail needed to support utilization
management and Revenue Cycle process flow
- Submission of critical incident reports to AFC, ORR, and
Community Mental Health (CMH) entities
- Psychiatric care scheduling and follow up based on documentation
and/or other requirements provided by the physician, Health
Education department and multi-disciplinary team
- Review and resolve administrative issues in Eisenhower Center's
EMR: Integration Log weekly
o Identify reportable trends to direct leadership to mitigate
reoccurring issues
- Communicates with external sources as needed to ensure positive
coordination of care and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate Degree in Business, Health Information
Management, or related field
- Medical billing experience is desirable.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to
prioritize and coordinate workload with high degree of proficiency
and accuracy.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of patients' medical records and
adherence to all HIPAA policies and regulations.
- Must be extremely accurate with attention to policies and
procedures.
- Excellent and accurate calculator, and computer skills. Including
the ability to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and
Outlook.
- Good overall knowledge of Eisenhower Center departments and their
respective scopes

environment, good judgment skills, and capable of making decisions
with attention to detail.
- Ability to work easily and cooperatively with other
departments.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks without
direct supervision.

and expeditious manner.
