Job Description:

Sort all USPS Mail according to departments and branches, Using UPS Trackpad, scan all inbound UPS/FedEx envelopes and packages. Provide support to various departments to ensure timely processing of all critical shipments. Light maintenance, move boxes up to 40 lbs.

• Respond to and/or correct all service requests received for Jackson Center and other branch locations in Jackson as assigned within a 48 hour period. Service requests may include minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter changes, ensuring mechanical rooms are clean and free of branch items, etc. Close out all services tickets once the work has been performed in a timely manner. Report any major building structural defects to the property manager for further investigation. Maintain communication with the branch management team regarding the status of service requests and verify - if any additional help from the Facilities team may be required
• Assist with construction projects and/or renovations as directed by the property manager. This will usually include working outside of standard business hours as to not disrupt the business units work day. Special projects may include carpet replacements, staff member relocations (desk set-ups, moving boxes, relocating file cabinets), lighting upgrades, etc.
• Scan into delivery mode, all incoming UPS and FedEx envelopes and packages. Sort, deliver, and acquire a signature on all deliveries throughout Flagstar Center.
• Prepare all outgoing boxes for UPS and FedEx acceptance, which includes; weighing the shipment, creating a shipping label using iSHIP, preparing an End of Day manifest for UPS pickup, and dispensing all outgoing packages to the lobby for pickup.
• Assist with maintaining company owned maintenance van and ensuring it is stocked with required parts.
• Perform emergency after hours work as dispatched by the property manager and/or corporate security.
  
  Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent or -required.
  • Previous mail room experience preferred but not required.
  • The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
  • A valid Michigan driver license with a good driving record is required. A chauffeurs or CDL endorsement is preferred.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills including reliability, punctuality, flexibility, communication, team work, and the ability to work without supervision.
  • Move boxes up to 40 lbs.
  • 15% of time spent away from the home office.
