Bioinformatics Scientist II

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist II to analyze NGS data and maintain bioinformatics pipelines.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive data analyses within various product and technology areas
Implement new functionality or improvements to production pipelines based on analyses
Collaborate with assay development scientists to plan and support experiments

Required Qualifications

PhD/Master's in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with 2+ years of post-graduate experience
Proficient in Python for data analysis and processing
Experience in a distributed Linux environment
High level understanding of molecular biology related to NGS
Expert knowledge of common bioinformatics databases and tools
