_Experienced Lead Carpenter _Our remodeling company is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in kitchens and bathrooms, so we need a Carpenter with cabinetry and vanity experience who loves thinking outside the box and wowing clients. The ideal candidate will have his or her own truck and tools and be willing to travel within a 60-mile radius. Most work is on-site, though we have a facility for pre-fab carpentry when the job calls for it. For the right applicant, we will consider a promotion to Lead Carpenter/Foreman in six months. If this sounds like a good fit, please apply with resume and portfolio.*Lead Carpenter Responsibilities & Duties: ** Prepare drawings for cabinetry, framing and other construction projects on-site* Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work* Build cabinets, vanities, tub and shower surrounds and other projects based on demand* Frame room additions as needed for client* Select and evaluate materials for defects* Install cabinets, counters and molding* Follow all code requirements for kitchens and baths in remodeling project*Lead Carpenter Qualifications & Skills: ** 1+ years' experience in finish carpentry* Additional 1+ years' experience in rough carpentry preferred* Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw* Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites* Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time* Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds* Knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materialsJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Vision insuranceExperience:* Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)* Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location:* Multiple locationsWork Remotely:* NoWork Location: Multiple Locations
