and outside of its business. Who You Are Our I.T. team provides
in-house technical expertise for the resolution of advanced
technical hardware and software problems. You will serve as a
technical consultant for various complex IT system involving the
integration of multiple systems across multiple functional
departments. This position is in the office and includes some
travel to our different branch locations. The Senior Network
Analyst is responsible for design, administration, management,
troubleshooting, and analysis of firewall, routing, and switching
devices. The successful candidate will have strong foundational
knowledge of networking, server, and cybersecurity concepts in an
enterprise setting. You have a background in the analysis,
troubleshooting, configuration, and provide subject matter
expertise of routed and switched environments including TCP/IP,
VoIP, VPN, IDS/IPS, firewall, and wireless concepts. Your Role
- Operational support of network environments.
- Switching, Routing, Traffic Management, DNS
- Measure, interpret, correct, and enhance network
performance.
- Install, configure, and monitor firewalls.
- Lead and work collaboratively on projects to accomplish
infrastructure goals.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of data centers.
- Assist in projects and management of server
infrastructure.
- Perform end-use support as needed.
- Work with carriers and vendors to support network and project
goals.
- Create and maintain documentation necessary for tracking and
cross-training.
- Ensure that tasks, projects, troubleshooting, and design are
focused on cybersecurity soundness. Desired Skillset
- Advanced understanding of network protocols and topics -
TCP/IP, VoIP, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAN, LAN, DNS, UDP, IPv4, BGP.
- Proficient understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for
network problems.
- Cisco or HP enterprise switching and routing device management
and configuration.
- Wireless access point management and configuration.
- Palo Alto, Cisco, or other major firewall vendor
knowledge.
- VMWare ESX / VCenter experience and knowledge.
- Familiar with Office365/Microsoft365/Azure environments.
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and server
operating systems.
- Experience with SDWAN technologies, preferably Cisco,
CloudGenix, or similar.
- Experience or understanding of enterprise storage (NAS/SAN),
preferably HP, Nimble, or similar.
- Experience or understanding of batch scripting and/or
PowerShell.
- Extensive knowledge of network and server hardware, server
operating systems, and database technologies.
- Strong technical acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed, organized, and detail oriented. Your Knowledge
and Experience
- Technical degree in IT or related field, or equivalent
combination of experience.
- Four years of experience working as a Network Administrator or
Analyst with at least two years of advanced troubleshooting and
design responsibilities.
- Knowledge of information system security operations,
techniques, and best practices.
- Expert level of knowledge of software applications and the
ability to learn new concepts through use and documentation.
