The Materials Supply Technician orders and maintains organ, tissue and perfusion supplies. The employee creates and distributes recovery kits for use throughout the state. The employee trouble shoots and resolves discrepancies related to supplies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform all shipping and receiving duties for the facility.
  
• Monitor supply levels and maintain appropriate inventory to accommodate recovery services. Documents all inventory according to Inventory Control System.
  
• Assemble and distribute recovery kits for related organ, tissue and perfusion activity.
  
• Work directly with purchasing coordinator to facilitate orders to vendors and processors.
  
• Continuous monitoring and restocking of the ambulance bay ensuring offsite recovery supplies are available for pick up by courier.
  
• 24 hr monitoring and maintenance of all refrigerators throughout the surgical center.
  
• Trouble shoot or follow up on all inventory or supply related activity.
  
• Conduct quarterly and yearly inventory audits.
  
• Perform various departmental projects as assigned.
  Qualifications A high school diploma or its equivalent is required and previous related work experience is desirable.
