typical day:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze
requirements, translating them into functional specifications and
technical designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as developers,
administrators, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth
implementation and integration of Salesforce.com with other
systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts or team
members, sharing best practices and knowledge in Salesforce.com
configuration and customization.
- Conduct user training sessions and create user documentation to
promote adoption and maximize the value of Salesforce.com across
the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce.com releases,
features, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on
the organization's Salesforce.com instance.
- Provide project status updates, progress reports, and
documentation to stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Collaborate with Salesforce.com administrators and developers
to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the
Salesforce.com platform. -What you need to succeed at XPO:At a
minimum, you'll need: - - - - - - -
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military
experience
- 4 years of direct experience as a Salesforce Lead Developer
role or in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com platform capabilities and
features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud,
and Community Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce.com integrations with other systems,
such as TMS System, marketing automation, or customer support
platforms.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com declarative tools, such as
Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Lightning App Builder
- Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component
development
- Salesforce.com certifications, such as Salesforce Certified
Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or
Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, are highly
desirable.
- Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce.com implementation,
data governance, and security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate
with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers,
and administrators.It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information
Systems or a related field or equivalent related work or military
experience
- 6+ years of direct experience as a Salesforce.com Lead
developer role or in a similar role.
- Experience in the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, troubleshooting and
