Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and professional technical sales leader,
who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced and friendly environment.
In this position, you will be focused on leading technical sales
activities in support of Campfire's suite of Portfolio
Profitability Management (PPM) products. This includes the
following:
- Drive customer selection and purchase of Campfire PPM family of
software products by executing pre-sales activities
- Assess how company products meet customer needs and pain
points
- Develop and deliver software demonstrations and technical sales
presentations
- Articulate the mapping and the value of Campfire solutions to
automotive business processes
- Perform benchmark evaluations for customers
- Work with sales management, account teams and customers to
understand business opportunities
- Contribute to technical sales plans and communicate with
colleagues and sales management on progress and account status
- Responsible in staying up to date on new products, market
conditions, competitor activities and trends within the industry
and provide input to team members and leadership team
- Present software solutions at conferences and technical forums
to increase awareness of products and generate leads
- Establish strategies to broaden target applications for
software products Work Experience
- 4+ years of account experience, leading to the retention and
growth of customers; must have demonstrated exceptional hands-on
customer experience
- 3+ years selling or supporting software systems, ideally with a
software vendor
- Familiarity of profitability management activities, including
forecasting, budgeting, quote preparation, pricing, and cost
estimation
- Proven track record of driving/impacting revenue
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up
skills
- Background working with automotive customers is preferred
- Proactive self-starter with a focus on results
- Motivated team player and leader
- Pre-sales technical support experience with products from
vendors including SAP, Oracle, IBM, Onestream, Anaplan, QAD, Infor,
COGNOS, LamaSoft is preferred
- Familiar with the terminology associated with internet
applications and enterprise scale software is required
- Experience in creating prototypes of demonstrations is
preferred
- Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis
and competitive differentiation and ROI analysis
- Experience in demonstrations to C-Level executives
- Experience in working with IT documents and RFP documents to
address requirements for enterprise IT standards is essential
