Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity seeks licensed Social Workers with a Masters degree to
support K-12 students in a school setting located in Waterford, MI.
The role focuses on providing intervention support to special
education students in individual or small group environments.
Candidates should hold full approval or a Social Worker certificate
through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) along with a
Michigan State Social Worker license issued by LARA. Key
Qualifications: - Masters degree in Social Work - Full Approval or
Social Worker Certificate through MDE or SSW 310 credential letter
with MDE application in process - Michigan State Social Worker
license through LARA - Experience working with K-12 special
education students preferred - Ability to manage a caseload of
approximately 35-45 students - Preference for onsite candidates;
virtual candidates considered if residing in Michigan Location: -
Waterford, MI (onsite preferred; virtual options available for
Michigan residents only) Responsibilities: - Provide intervention
support to special education students in small groups or one-on-one
sessions - Manage caseload of students ranging from elementary
through high school levels - Collaborate with school staff to
develop and implement appropriate student support plans - Maintain
compliance with state licensing and district guidelines Benefits: -
