Job Description:
Position DescriptionAs a Technical Sales Manager, you will join
a growing team of high-energy sales professionals who are committed
to sourcing and supporting key customers. You'll focus -on our
Raptor solution, and other New Eagle electrification and autonomy
enablement products.You'll leverage your solid communication skills
to sell technical -solutions and consulting services and -interact
with Electrical and Controls engineering professionals at all
levels. You will bring a strong motivation for business
development, a willingness to be on-site and travel to our
customers, -and must be able to contribute to the execution of our
sales strategy. -The successful candidate will have strong
references -and a strong network of engineering contacts in the
industries we serve.Essential Duties
- Source -and develop -new business relationships using strategic
networking practices, in-person meetings, and product
demonstrations.
- Perform -market analysis, strategizing for growth, and
coordinating with sales management.
- Establish -and foster -strong relationships with key customers
to engender longstanding partnerships.
- Serves as the primary relationship owner for key or strategic
accounts as needed, including direct management of executive level
customer relationships
- Actively manage the escalation process as needed to reliably
develop business at key or strategic accounts or close individual
sales deals
- On-site working is required at our Ann Arbor HQ location
- 30%+ travel required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical
experience
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Experience in project-led software sales business models is
preferred but not required, proficient in concepts around embedded
controls
- Creation and execution of quarterly and annual business
plans
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding
assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
- Advanced level skill in using CRM and Microsoft Office
products. Especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with
HubSpot CRM and NetSuite a plus
